Chris G. Jourdan
In 1998, after an eye-opening and costly experience at a major tax preparation chain, Chris Jourdan established Jourdan Accounting. With prior experience in manually preparing tax returns while enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for more than 10 years, he decided to seek higher education in the area of accounting and taxation by attending the Asher School of Business where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Accounting Technology in 2000. He proceeded to Herzing University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2002. He then obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting & Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, a division of DeVry University, in 2006. He has attended and mastered countless continuing education courses provided by the Internal Revenue Service and many nationally known accounting and tax preparation software companies. Over time, Chris Jourdan has and continues to blaze a trail for partners, students and many more to follow.
By setting the highest standard of education, client & customer service, and community service involvement, Chris is an accounting instructor and serves on the Advisory Board of Business Administration and Accounting at Herzing University and performs many radios shows on WRFG 89.3 FM pertaining to areas of business, financial management, and taxation and speaks at no cost to many public schools within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. In his corporate career, Chris has worked tirelessly through the accounting ranks as an Accounting Clerk, Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Department Manager, and Corporate Controller. Since leaving Corporate America, he has become a major role in the financial success of many small businesses and individuals.
